If they are the right couple they had a son named William who married Emma Horsley. Their son Robert Redverse is my husband's father. My husband and his family were all brought up in Ladysmith Natal (although we now live near Manchester UK). Our Robert emigrated from Yorkshire in 1867 with his Mother Mary Teasdale (nee Lund), his brother William and sister Helen. It would be good to find out if the connection is there. Thanks. Guest:81.109.18.156Hello! I was searching the internet for Borthwick and came across your site. Was amazed to find photo of family group in Durban with my aunt Marjory and uncle George. My mum, Hazell, was Marjory's sister so Lachlan is my cousin - we haven't spoken for over 30 years; it would be great to hear from him! Living in Stratford upon Avon; 3 children, George (14) and twins, Claudia and Lana (11), dad, Jim, still nearby. |
