Was browsing through your website when I came across Robert and Ann Frankish, who we are sure are my husband's (Rodney Teasdale), G-Grandparents. If they are the right couple they had a son named William who married Emma Horsley. Their son Robert Redverse is my husband's father. My husband and his family were all brought up in Ladysmith Natal (although we now live near Manchester UK). Our Robert emigrated from Yorkshire in 1867 with his Mother Mary Teasdale (nee Lund), his brother William and sister Helen. It would be good to find out if the connection is there.

John Chalmers b. circa 1784 + Jean Miller CLARKSON

George Clarkson 10 DEC 1819 married Ann Minogue (charged with murder in 1901- not convicted)
12 AUG 1822, died in Tasmania 26 NOV 1899

William Clarkson CHALMERS married Martha Ann born 1870 in Woods Point,Victoria,Australia.
He died on 7 Apr 1933 in Johannesburg,South Africa in a mining disaster rescue attempt.

Which brings us to my father, William McMahon Chalmers, alive and well in his 80's in Pinetown, South Africa
