I promise to try and get a full Home News out covering my last training session (with the dolphins) and the weekend charter of the 72 foot Challenge 36 prototype (with the driving snow and very lumpy sea – free falling in my bunk) sometime this weekend.

I have a nine day sail organised in San Francisco for 30 April to 8 May (I will be there from 28 Apr to 10 May). Which I am really looking forward to. Pacific Ocean should make a nice change from the old English Channel.

We (Maggie, the kids and I) all survived our RYA First Aid course, so don’t dare collapse near us otherwise you will have four of us fighting to do our “BBC Foreign Service”, “Doctor ABC” and “WATER” drills. Good course, just hope we never have to use it.
