The guestbook is restricted to genuine guests of TheChalmers.com web site.
There seems to be a tendancy to use the guestbook to record links to other sites simply to ensure a good Google or other search engine hit, or to use the Guestbook as a stepping stone to hacking pages or advertising link pages.
In order to sign the guestbook, you are required to have visited at least five distinct pages within the site. After you have visited five pages, you will then be allowed to sign the guestbook.
