How Do I Find Stuff ?

The best way of quickly finding what you want on this website is via either a Site Search or a Picture Search. The Site Search can also be used to search for pictures.

We use a sophisticated search algorithm which allows you to use boolean logic to refine your search to find the stuff you really want. In addition you can specify the areas of the site that you want to search through, either explicitly or via your search phrase.

Firstly an explaination about boolean logic when searching. Boolean logic allows you to build a search string using AND, OR and NOT clauses in much the same way as you would in plain English. In addition you can use brackets to clarify your search phrase so that your AND and OR phrases are clear and specific.

Some Examples

The search string is NOT case sensitive and trailing S's are removed to alow for plural searching. In general the string search for can appear anywhere within the object, and may be found as part of another word.
