TheChalmers.com provides two type of chat rooms for visitors to the site. RealTime chatroom facilities are provided va a Java Applet embedded in the RealTime Chat area. Asynchronous Chat facilities are provided for in a number of rooms. These rooms do not automatically refresh, and are more suitable for leaving chat postings for people who may not be online at the same point in time.
